NEXT EVENT on Saturday  May 31st

Meet at 5.30 pm in Melpignano for guided tour of the town (Baroque/ Renaissance churches, palazzi...)

Culture and folklore followed by dinner in Melpignano, part of the Grecia salentina and home to the Notte della Taranta.

1. Presentation of the history of the tambourine from Greek times, through to the Pizzica tamburello, not forgetting the traditional Irish bodhran.

2. Dinner at the Tamburi Museum.
